Functionality Update Requirement: The HTI-1 Final Rule requires that all Health IT Modules certified to § 170.315(g)(10) Standardized API for patient and population services are able to revoke an authorized application’s access within 1 hour of the request and attest to that functionality by submitting the appropriate documentation to their ONC-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB).
- December 31, 2024
- The § 170.315(a)(9) Clinical decision support (CDS) criterion expires on December 31, 2024. Health IT developers planning to maintain conformance to the Base EHR Definition must update their Certified Health IT to § 170.315(b)(11) Decision support interventions by this deadline.
- Certified Health IT developers must publish Service Base URL lists in a standardized FHIR® format by December 31, 2024 as required by the API Condition of Certification.
- December 31, 2025
