Dr. Kikelomo Oshunkentan is a physician executive and strategic leader with over a decade of experience across health plan operations, population health, value-based care, and digital transformation. She currently serves as Regional Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Humana Medicaid, where she leads enterprise-aligned clinical strategies to improve care quality, manage medical cost trends, and ensure sustainable clinical operations across South Carolina.

With deep expertise spanning Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business, Dr. Oshunkentan has held senior leadership roles at Fortune 500 healthcare organizations and a global health IT company. Her prior roles include Chief Medical Officer at Pegasystems and Regional Medical Director at Optum/UnitedHealth Group, where she drove utilization management excellence, provider engagement, regulatory compliance, and innovative care delivery models.

A board-certified internist and certified healthcare informatics professional, Dr. Oshunkentan is recognized for advancing large-scale quality improvement initiatives, implementing clinical models for risk-bearing and value-based arrangements, and leveraging data and technology to improve outcomes at scale. She has also contributed to national policy and innovation efforts, advising on interoperability and health data standards through federal and industry committees.

Dr. Oshunkentan holds an MD/MPH and an MBA with a focus in Leadership and Strategy, along with multiple certifications in healthcare quality and information systems. She is an active member of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the Society of Hospital Medicine, and serves on national advisory and healthcare innovation committees focused on data interoperability and health system improvement.
