Online Course: Health Information Technology Foundations for Rural Health Clinics & Community Health Centers

This 8-week, 40-hour Health IT training program is designed for clinical and non-clinical staff in varied roles at rural health clinics and community health centers. The training focuses on the skills and knowledge needed to advance health IT initiatives and meet Meaningful Use criteria. Though originally designed as online, cohort-based (a group that begins and completes training together), and instructor-led, the program can be adapted for any instructional format. This program was developed with instructional resources from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
