Randa Perkins, MD, MBA, FAMIA, is Chief Medical Information Officer and Senior Director for Clinical Informatics at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. Her work focuses on the application of information technology to improve clinical care, with a focus on usability, and research on the implementation science of healthcare IT. She is also a practicing family medicine physician in the center’s Department of Internal Medicine. In addition, she is an Assistant Professor and the Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program Director for the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. Dr. Perkins received her Doctor of Medicine from Florida State University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
