George Mathew, M.D. is the Chief Medical Officer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services, in their Americas Health & Life Sciences and Canadian Public Sector division, serving as a clinical expert and healthcare thought leader.

Dr. Mathew joined HPE from Aetna/ActiveHealth where he served as the Medical Director for Quality and Analytics Programs. He was responsible for the building and maintenance of the quality measures library supporting their proprietary analytics platform software.

His experience includes consulting, technology development, and business development work at General Electric, Goldman, Sachs & Co., WebMD, and Pfizer. Dr. Mathew brings a strong technology innovation focus to this role having founded a healthcare technology start-up earlier in his career.

Dr. Mathew graduated from Boston University Medical School and completed his residency at Greenwich Hospital/Yale University in Connecticut.  He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Dr. Mathew is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Informatics and Medical Quality.  Dr. Mathew continues to practice medicine as a hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York.
