About 4 in 10 individuals filled out paperwork related to their health care or made health care appointments online. Over one-third communicated with their provider online, while 3 in 10 individuals communicated with their health care provider via text message. Just over 4 in 10 individuals looked for a health care provider online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Results are available for &#8220;Communicating with Health Care Provider&#8221; questions and&nbsp;<em>Track health care charges and costs<\/em>&nbsp;from HINTS 5, Cycle 2, 2018, but are not statistically different from 2017. The remaining questions were not part of this cycle of HINTS.
