On December 11, 2023, ONC and the TEFCA Recognized Coordinating Entity® (RCETM), The Sequoia Project, released the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)® Roadmap for TEFCASM Exchange V.2. This version updates the previous roadmap and continues the momentum already established by providing more details and guidance for the future of FHIR in TEFCA.

During this second hearing on artificial intelligence (AI), I shared work that I’m doing on behalf of HHS to support President Biden’s Executive Order on harnessing the potential and mitigating the risks of AI. The wait is finally over! If you’ve been following ONC’s work on USCDI+ over the past year, you’ve likely heard discussion of a new platform for organizing and building out the various USCDI+ datasets. After several months of development and testing, the new platform is now live at https://uscdiplus.healthit.gov and will be the single location where USCDI+ datasets for all domains will be located.
