Two of the meeting\u2019s panelists for the <em>HIE and Interoperabilit<\/em><em>y: Sharing Information to Improve Patient Care <\/em>session, have posted blog entries today with their thoughts on the subject. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justin Barnes, Vice President of Marketing, Industry &amp; Government Affairs at Greenway, posted a blog entry earlier today on the Health IT Buzz Blog: <a href=\"https:\/\/healthit.gov\/\/buzz-blog\/meaningful-use\/broadening-nature-health-care-interoperability\/\">Broadening the Nature of Health Care Interoperability.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Halamka, M.D., Chief Information Officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Chairman of the New England Healthcare Exchange Network, Co-Chair of the HIT Standards Committee, a full Professor at Harvard Medical School, and a practicing Emergency Physician also posted a blog entry, \u201cInteroperability Gets Real,\u201d on his <a href=\"https:\/\/geekdoctor.blogspot.com\/\">Life as a Healthcare CIO blog<\/a> as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/healthit.gov\/\/buzz-blog\/meaningful-use\/interoperability-real-2\/\">Health IT Buzz Blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out these two blog posts, and remember to tune into the ONC Annual Meeting <a href=\"https:\/\/healthit.gov\/\/oncmeeting\/webcast\">live webcast<\/a>.
