Leidos now becomes one of four organizations to hold current ONC-ATL status alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drummondgroup.com\/\">Drummond Group<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icsalabs.com\/\"> ICSA Labs<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slicompliance.com\/\">SLI Compliance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ONC, in collaboration with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nist.gov\/nvlap\">National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP)<\/a> developed and maintains the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nist.gov\/nvlap\/healthcare-information-technology-lap\">Healthcare Information Technology Testing Laboratory Accreditation Program<\/a>\u00a0administered by NVLAP.\u00a0 NVLAP, as administered by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nist.gov\/\">National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)<\/a>, is responsible for accrediting and overseeing health IT testing laboratories in the ONC Health IT Certification Program.\u00a0 Once accredited, ONC\u2019s certification regulations (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfr.gov\/current\/title-45\/subtitle-A\/subchapter-D\/part-170\/subpart-E\/section-170.520#p-170.520(b)\">45 CFR 170.520(b)<\/a>) require an organization seeking to test health IT in the ONC Health IT Certification Program to also complete and submit an <a href=\"https:\/\/healthit.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/ONC_ATL_Application_2016_Editable.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">application<\/a>\u00a0for approval to the National Coordinator.\u00a0 Leidos has successfully completed its application and has been approved for ONC authorization as an ONC-ATL to test all certification criteria adopted by the HHS Secretary under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfr.gov\/current\/title-45\/part-170\/subpart-C\">45 CFR 170.315.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional information on the ONC-ATLs can be found on the <u><a href=\"https:\/\/healthit.gov\/onc-authorized-testing-laboratories-onc-atls\/\">ONC Health IT Certification Program\u2019s webpage<\/a>.<\/u><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) is pleased to announce that [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":619,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_selected_menu":"","_show_breadcrumbs":"true","_blog_show_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[],"archived-category":[],"featured":[],"topics":[459,429,458,425],"class_list":["post-20041","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","topics-certification-testing","topics-certification-program-rules","topics-conformance-test-tools","topics-hit-policy"],"acf":{"blog_authors":[{"blog_author_profiles":"198600"}],"hp_news_hide":false},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v24.3 (Yoast SEO v24.8.1) -
