Take a look at who\u2019s participating in TEFCA Exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are pleased to announce that the beta version of an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rce.sequoiaproject.org\/tefca-map-search\/\">interactive, searchable map<\/a>&nbsp;for TEFCA<sup>TM<\/sup>&nbsp;participation is now available. The map released today is another example of our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/healthit.gov\/blog\/tefca\/tefca-priorities-and-plans-for-the-remainder-of-2025\">commitment to transparency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2023, TEFCA went live with five Qualified Health Information Networks\u00ae (QHINs<sup>TM<\/sup>) ready to securely exchange information according to one set of network participation policies, one set of nationwide connectivity services, and one approach to network oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, over 9,200 separate organizations have signed up to participate in TEFCA Exchange. Across the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rce.sequoiaproject.org\/designated-qhins\/\">now 10 QHINs<\/a>, these organizations represent over 41,000 unique connections to clinicians, hospitals, clinics, post-acute and long term care facilities, public health authorities, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next question we know you\u2019re going to ask, dear reader, is, \u201cI wonder if&nbsp;<em>my&nbsp;<\/em>Dr. Smith\u201d is on TEFCA? You can use the map to search by organization name, address, or zip code to find out. The map is powered by TEFCA\u2019s organizational directory, which is different from other broader \u201cprovider directory\u201d efforts that aim to list metadata on a provider-by-provider basis, such as physician specialty, whether they are accepting new patients, practice website, what insurance is accepted, Direct addresses, and certified health IT FHIR\u00ae endpoints for patient-access (see section&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/114th-congress\/house-bill\/34\">5006 of the 21<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;Century Cures Act<\/a>&nbsp;as an overall \u201cprovider directory\u201d example).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We anticipate updating the map weekly to reflect new participants and adding more features over the coming months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce that the beta version of an interactive, searchable map for TEFCA\u2122 participation is now available.
