SESSION #147 – APPROACHING PERSISTENT PROBLEMS IN HEALTH IT THROUGH SCIENCE
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) has a short but impactful history of investing in innovative projects and pilots that have helped shape the nation’s health information systems. This session will present a variety of ONC sponsored projects aimed at galvanizing innovative approaches for enhancing the nation’s health IT infrastructure at scale, including ONC’s Leading Edge Acceleration Projects (LEAP) in Health IT, while also identifying new areas in need of additional exploration.
